Latin Dancing Shoes for Men and Women

While there are all sorts of different types of clothes to wear for Latin dancing one of the most important parts of the fashions in this form of dance is that of the dance footwear. Not only can the dance footwear make a visual impact on the dance but they can also make the dances more comfortable and therefore more enjoyable. There are some types of Latin dancing shoes for men and women to wear.

The first part to look into is the dance footwear for men. Leather is the best material for shoes for men. It is a comfortable material that does not shine as much as that of other types of materials and can be great. It also allows for more movement in the legs without discomfort. Black is the best color to use for these shoes.

The soles of the men's shoes should be made out of suede. This is with the intention of keeping the dance floor safe. It also works to allow for better movements around the surface of the dance floor. The soles should be about one and a half inches in height.

Next, here's a look at the dance footwear for women in the world of Latin dancing. The colors that women can use will be more varied than that of what men should be wearing. Black is the most popular color, but white, tan, red and beige can be used as well. The main choice to consider is that of the colors of the rest of the clothes that the woman is wearing.

The soles should also be made out of suede. This is all with the intention of being able to keep the dance floor from being damaged and for having great movement. The heels should be ones that will be able to stick to the floor without damaging the floor as well. In fact, the heels can vary in height but should be around two inches in height. It is best for a woman to try out the shoes based on heel height so that she will know if she is able to get around easily without stumbling or not.

The buckle on the woman's shoe should be singular. It should be one that straps right above the ankle. There should be protection for the toes so that the toes will be protected and it will be easy to keep the shoe on. When a woman is trying on a shoe for dancing she should be looking to see that the shoe stays on her foot.

Leather is the last part to consider for a woman's dance shoes. Leather is the material of choice for Latin dancing shoes, of course, and this should be used for women's shoes.

The Latin dancing shoes to wear are going to be clearly different for both men and women. However, these are all important to see, as dance footwear will be needed for Latin dancing to work at its best.
